Description

Afin d’accueillir sa clientèle de plus en plus nombreuse et d’offrir un environnement de travail plus convivial à ses équipes, le concessionnaire Subaru Desjardins Auto Collection a mandaté Garoy afin qu’il réalise d’importants travaux d’agrandissement au garage déjà existant. Ajout d’un bureau au deuxième étage, salle d’exposition plus vaste, reconfiguration des espaces… Tout a été optimisé et amélioré. Un soin particulier a été apporté à la robustesse de la construction : joint sismique entre l’ancienne partie et la nouvelle, structure d’acier et colombage métallique, isolation supérieure, toiture avec membrane élastomère.

À l’extérieur, le panneau et le revêtement combinant l’aluminium et la maçonnerie confèrent à l’édifice une allure résolument contemporaine. Du côté de la salle d’exposition, on a opté pour des planchers de céramique, tandis que le béton scellé était tout indiqué du côté de l’atelier.
